G'night...

It's I don't know what time on a Friday night and I'm all warm, tucked in bed after a relaxing hot shower. Tonight is the key night for the best sleep before a marathon. So, I told Erin and Stratos to enjoy a date alone while I hang sola in Stratos' flat and hit the sack early...feels wonderful. My eyes are tired and so my post tonight will be short.

Today was a total blast!! I'm still jet lagged and woke up at 3:45 am and erin too. So, she and I talked each in our own beds until 6am, when we decided to get up, quietly make some breakfast (oatmeal with raisins and sliced banana, fruity yogurt, vitamin C water, and toast with peanutbutter and jam...YUM!). We let Stratos sleep in since he had a long week with many games, and long workouts...his coach keeps them at the gym after flying in from France until the weeeee hours of the night...a coach way worse than Bobby Knight! Anyway, then Erin and I went to Starbucks and enjoyed yummy coffee, lots of water and read our Bibles and shared great verses somehow our conversations always inlcude tons of laughter. I'm loving my time with sweet younger sister! I am truly blessed to have her as my sister, and my family as my family! Ugh!

From there we went back, did the dishes, Stratos woke up and we went to the expo...sooooo much fun. Stratos was great at reminding me of the details as I was totally in awe of it all and so excited to just be walking around. I LOVE GREECE!!!!! I love the beauty, I love the people, I love the culture, I really love it all! I'm really looking forward to experiencing Greece in an uncommon way...by marathon!

After the expo we went to a yummy lunch and the people there (as well as the expo) all stare at Stratos (he's famous there), and ask for photos with him etc...he's not a spotlight kinda guy so he tries to keep a low profile. He's so darling and I'm really excited that he will soon be my new brother!

Stratos had to go to practice and Erin and I went and had our nails done. Erin got barbie doll pink and I got the Greek flag colors on my hands and feet...you'll see in the photos which I will post when I get back home. But, the girls in the salon were so sweet, cute, nice, funny, and gorgeous!!! They don't have blue nailpolish so they tried mixing fingernail polishes, all the while I'm trying to tell them it's ok and that I'll just pick another color. They wouldn't have it. They pulled out the permanent marker!! So, I've got white polish with blue permanent marker all over my fingernails and toenails!!! They were too cute!!

Anyway, today was beautiful out...I guess this hot weather is not normal for this time of year, and they all think we brought the weather from "sunny california" haha!! If they only knew...it's so stormy and cold there! Haha!!!

Well, i'm tired and better get some zzz's. Miss you all!

OH!! I'd love to send you all postcards but do not have ANY addresses. If you'd like one then send me your 4-1-1 at jengee52@gmail.com

Well, bye for now! Can't wait to post my pictures. G'night!
J
